On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, MCI-Norfolk Superintendent Nelson Alves honored MCI-Norfolk Wellness Committee Tri-Chairs—Anthony Dagnello, Joyce Wessel, and Judith Grubbs—for their exceptional dedication to staff wellness at the MA Department of Correction facility in Norfolk, Massachusetts. Each was awarded a unique metal plaque, shaped like Massachusetts and personalized with their names to honor their efforts. Unfortunately, Anthony Dagnello could not be present for the celebration. Superintendent Alves also read a commendation letter, acknowledging the team’s relentless commitment to enhancing the well-being and morale of MCI-Norfolk staff. Notably, the ceremony included guests from the Office of the Ombudsman, marking the event as a significant tribute to the committee’s achievements. Congratulations to the team at MCI-Norfolk!
