The Office of the Ombudsman and the respective Massachusetts Department of Correction (DOC) facility Wellness Committees, in collaboration with the DOC, has begun an exciting update of the DOC facility-based fitness centers to support and encourage the goal of improved wellness for all. The gyms at MCI-Norfolk, NCCI-Gardner, OCCC, SBCC, and MCI-Framingham are all enjoying some much-needed focus and attention to make them more pleasant places for DOC staff to work out and get healthier.
